Two older ferrets need a loving home.

There is a set of two older ferrets (aged 4 and older) that are in need of a loving permanent foster home. These ferrets have both lost their other half, and need someone to love and care for them for the rest of their lives. Once again: permanent foster homes mean that you get all the fun of ferret ownership without the expense; vet bills are covered by the ferret rescue. If you think that you can provide an appropriate forever home for these loving little ferrets, please drop us a line and tell us a bit about yourself, your experience with ferrets, and the home that you would be providing.

Forever Homes Needed

For those of you that have ferret experience...

FIRST ferret rescue in Vancouver has a set of five "older" (approximately three years in age) and very wonderful ferrets that need a permanent home. If you have a home that might be suitable for these guys, please let us know! Send us a friendly e-mail telling us about yourself and your ferret experience, as well as some contact information and we will arrange a time to meet with you and pass on your contact information to FIRST along with a recommendation if you are a suitable permanent foster home.

UPDATE AGAIN: We may have found a permanent home for these fuzzies! YAY! Let's hope that it all works out =)

Foster Forms Available Now

Can you help a ferret in need?

Over the last few weeks, we've had a few people expressing interest in providing a foster home for ferrets that have been surrendered to us. Fortunately, we haven't had a need for this service yet, but word about us has been growing, and we will soon be taking in some ferrets, assessing their needs, and then attempting to find forever homes for them. In the meantime, however, we will need more volunteers to provide caring temporary homes for these fuzzy friends.

As we get to know the needs of the individual ferrets, we will be sharing information about them with our volunteers, but in the meantime we hope that anyone who thinks they might be able to foster a ferret take a moment to read our foster requirements, fill out our foster application form, and email it to ferretsnorth@gmail.com, subject line "Foster". These are available on our main site, www.ferretsnorth.org/#volunteer, or you can download the forms by clicking on the links below. Remember, a little bit of kindness can change the life of a ferret in need!
